"Santa Dancing" -
a fun children's dance song about Santa Claus 😉

This is a remake of the
famous nursery rhyme song - “Baby Shark”.

The story of the song “Baby
Shark” began as a children's song by the fire, where each member of the shark
family is represented by different hand movements. In different versions of the
song, sharks prey on fish or a sailor.

The dance version of Baby
Shark was first popularized online through a YouTube video in 2007 called
Kleiner Hai, published by Alexandra Müller, also known by the stage name
alemuel. This version is related to the theme of the soundtrack Jaws (music
from the movie Jaws) and tells the story of a small shark that grows and eats a
swimmer. The video soon gained popularity and alemuel-led label EMI Müller
released the song, accompanied by the rhythms of a disco on May 30, 2008. The
single peaked at 25th place on the German charts and 21st on the Austrian
chart. Based on the single and the original source video, the YouTube community
has created a popular music video, which is a typical example of crowdsourcing.
The German version of the song remains popular among German youth groups and
has been published in several variations (also in different dialects of the
German language) since they first gained popularity in 2007.
